Day One Inks
It all started with me wanting to write a book about a guy named Billy Badass and his partner, Johnny Switchblade. I originally thought they would be from the 1950s, and they would be sent forward in time, but an amount of time so pitiful the stupidity of it would dwarf the accomplishment of time travel, and it would seem ridiculous to the audience. I had seen it before (Captain America, Austin Powers), but they all simply shrug and adapt instead of finding a lot of modern se nsibilities ridiculous and butting heads with those. I've been working on a very serious project, but not to long ago, I just said fuck it and everything hit right. I've been watching Flash Gordon and Buck Rogers, with their reductive storylines, straight to the point, and decided to ape that style, but with really great consequences. Here are the inked sheets, with full grade to come out later. I am really excited to be able to present the first three pages of this webcomic. The year is 1932 ...
